The Post-Crucifixion Christ and Angel

The icons and museum reproductions are entirely handmade, created on marine plywood, using the ancient encaustic technique:
a mixture of beeswax, mastic, and natural pigments, which are heated on a palette and applied hot to the wood in layers, creating unique depth and timeless radiance.

The subjects include icons from the Byzantine and pre-Byzantine periods, as well as museum reproductions of icons and Fayum portraits, remaining faithful to the authentic principles and spirituality of the era.

Each piece is signed and dated, and the back is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
